Cultural Stay in The Netherlands

There is no better way to experience the military and way of life in the Netherlands than with a six-day cultural exchange, where you will be introduced to all kinds of local people from the armed forces and catch a glimpse of their field of activity. The program, offered by the Royal Military Academy in Breda, includes regular visits to both cultural and military ‘hot spots’. Other activities concerning the officer training and life as an officer cadet in the Netherlands will be given consideration. Moreover, international guests will be invited to the annual military ball, “Assaut”, on Friday and Saturday evening.

        
Each delegation may consist of one accompanying officer (rank: Lieutenant, Captain or Major) and a maximum of three officer cadets. All EUAFA academies are able to participate.
However, the program has a limit of 50 guests. The order in which your application is processed has bearing on your admissions decision. Applications are namely processed in the order in which they arrive.

All costs of meals, local transportation and housing will be borne by the host. Please note that the travel expenses to the Netherlands are on your own cost.
